This lovely 2 bedroom fully equipped apartment in a boutique block of 3 apartments is only two blocks away from The Strand giving our guests prime access to Townsville’s most loved destination, meanwhile offering a sanctuary on one of Townsville’s most desirable streets. This is on the ground floor of a 2 story building. With a patio, dining area and bbq to delight. Please note most of our guests absolutely love this space and location, but some guests are bothered by noise from guests above. This is a spacious ground floor apartment, with everything one could need for a short or long stay. There is plenty of storage, and an internal washing machine and dryer. From a local's perspective, this really is a fantastic location. You are just a moment from the beach where you can walk, swim, kayak, sail, shop, eat, drink and be merry. Being just two blocks back, you are far enough away from the 'busy' traffic and noise that accompanies life on The Strand. There is no coffee machine because you are opposite one of the best coffee houses in town (and we may even throw in a few vouchers for your delight). Bakehouse on Eyre have you covered for morning coffee, breakfast and lunch. And the best pizza in town is on the other side at Tony's! Please note: 1. The furnishings have been updated since these photographs were taken. Rest assured they are of a similar quality and style 2. The grassy garden area surrounding the apartment is common ground. 3. The bbq is shared between Apartment 1 and 2 (Apartment 2 have their own outdoor dining area). 4. A few times a year (e.g. New Year), street parking can become an issue. Our fully fenced yard is big enough to park cars for guests staying in Apartment 1 and 2. Please just ask if you'd like access to it (or you'd prefer to park your car in the yard at night). 5. There are no screens on windows at this property, and no double glazing, so please expect some noise from the surroundings, and from guests above due to the gorgeous timber flooring throughout. If you are sensitive to noise when sleeping, please take a pair of ear plugs from the vanity unit in the bathroom. As your host, I am here to ensure your stay is just right. I offer a concierge service for guests who would like to arrive to freshly baked bread, a stocked fridge, transport, access to sailing boats, dream dinners and hampers. I have partnerships with ladies clothing hire companies and florists, so anything you need to make your stay extra special, please just ask. As mentioned, the boutique block encompasses a large 3 bed executive appartment on the first floor (sleeps up to 10), and a 2 bed apartment next door (sleeps up to 4). If you are here with friends and family, and would like to rent out the entire block, please contact us for availability and a special rate. On the CBD side of North Wards ever popular Eyre Street, you'll find yourself positioned close to a myriad of restaurants, cafes, bars and the Townsville lifestyle Mecca 'The Strand'. The position of this corner block residences couldn't be better… You can smell the fresh coffee and other delights from the bakehouse on Eyre. Tony's Pizza is fresh and ready for your Friday night and the convenient position puts you in walking distance to everything! As mentioned above, there is plenty of off street parking. During busy seasons, you are welcome to park your car in the yard with a locked fence. Sublime Experiences partners with a number of uber and shebah drivers in town and can arrange share ride services for you. This is a sublime property.
