Located just a 5 minute stroll from Townsville's Iconic Strand and 15 minutes to the CBD this home is perfectly situated for your stay in Townsville if looking for a large stand alone home :) This original Queenslander has plenty of room and is so close to The Strand, Queens park, Sports reserve, Gregory St shopping, cafes and restaurants and Coles. You will find 1 large bedroom with sofa, a second queen room, and a smaller bunk room. There is one full sized bathroom with 2 sinks, a bath tub, shower and toilet, and a second standalone toilet upstairs. And one not yet rennovated bathroom with shower downstairs. The kitchen windows opens out to the deck, garden and fire pit. A very spacious living area and large dining table, gives all guests plenty of room to relax. The entrance room is a lovely space just to sit in and read a book. With a fully enclosed garden, there's plenty of room for your car and one pet is welcome. Please note, we do not have mesh on the doors/gates to prevent your small dog escaping if this should be an issue. We don't have fly screens on windows if you are concerned about mossies. Please note there is a staircase up the entrance as shown in the photos. Please also note, the original queenslander windows do have gaps and there are no fly screens. We only accept 6 adults in total There must be “reasonable usage of electricity “ie max 40 kws a day. There is a smart meter installed. The laundry is downstairs under the house and there is one well loved washing machine. The Strand offers Cafes, restaurants and bars with a beautiful beach and back drop out to Magnetic Island. The CBD and brand new Queensland Country Stadium are all moments away. Spacious Fresheyre is set on a tree covered block. The home is fully air conditioned with high ceilings, fans and traditional spaces. The kitchen opens out with a full width servery bi fold window to a bar area that transforms the space bringing the outdoor area to life.
